Cabo De Flores Tour is new, and small on purpose: one guide, one phone number, started in 2026 after years of watching travellers get sold Komodo packages they did not understand. We do not own the boats. We organise the trip — the right boat, the right crew, the right days — and we go with you.
Labuan Bajo changed fast. We tried to change well.
Ten years ago there were maybe thirty boats working the park and one hotel with hot water. Today there are hundreds of operators, an international terminal and a queue on the Padar steps at sunrise. Most of that growth has been good for Flores. Some of it has not.
We started Cabo De Flores Tour in 2026 because we had seen enough of the other side. We are not a boat owner, and we have never pretended to be. We are the person who organises your open trip: we know which boats are kept properly and which crews we would put our own family with, we book the days that fit your dates, and we come along so the plan on paper is the trip you actually get.
It also means telling guests the truth. If your dates are wrong for mantas, we will say so. If a cheaper trip does exactly what you want, we will tell you that too — and we would rather you came back in a better month than had a mediocre trip in this one.

We book the departure that fits, on a boat and crew we have sailed with ourselves — not whichever one has a free seat.

Park entry, ranger fees, pickup from your hotel or the airport — sorted before you arrive, with the numbers told to you upfront.

Your guide is on the trip from the harbour to the last island, so the plan you were promised is the trip you get.
Three commitments we will not trade away for a cheaper price
Only boats we would board ourselves
We do not own the boats, so we are free to be picky about them. Every open trip we sell runs on a vessel and crew we have checked in person. If the sea says no, the trip moves — nobody sails just to hit a date.
The park has to outlast us
No anchoring on coral, reef-safe sunscreen, all plastic carried back to town. These are rules we hold our partner boats to, not just ourselves.
Local people, local money
The boats, crews and guides we book are from Labuan Bajo and West Manggarai. Booking through us keeps the money on Flores instead of with an agency in Bali or abroad.
